OVS 2.8 added hardware offload using TC. However, Connection tracking support is still lacking. Both in TC and for hardware offload. In this talk, we'd like to present how TC API should be extended in order to use CT as an action and the ability to classify on connection state. We will also suggest necessary changes to TC and Netfiler required to support common connection tracking offload use-cases and an implementation independent of the underlying hardware.
