Tungsten Fabric, Open source version of Juniper Commercial product Contrail, it includes SDN controller (VNC - Virtual Network Controller) and vRouter, TF vRouter is similar to Open vSwitch, but vRouter is L3 network virtualization implementation, OVS is L2 network virtualization implementation, Tungsten Fabric vRouter can unify virtualized network infrastructure for hybrid multi-stack cloud, such as Openstack, OpenShift, Kubernetes, etc. This talk will compare OVS with TF vRouter from control plane, data plane to features and implementation details and help audience to understand them better from different perspectives.
