This talk will provide a general update on the OVS DPDK community. It will include topics such as development heat map which outlines where userspace development within the OVS code base is trending to over the past number of OVS releases. An overview of two new OVS DPDK specific branches ‘dpdk_latest’ and ‘dpdk_hwol’ recently introduced to the OVS repo will also be provided, including: requirements outlined by the community for why such branches are needed.
