DPDK provides a datapath for OVS. As DPDK is a fast moving project we tie OVS versions to specific DPDK versions. The topic of which DPDK version to use for an OVS release often arises.
In this talk we'll discuss the types of DPDK releases, which ones are maintained, and the advantages and disadvantages of choosing to use DPDK LTS releases.
